Significant signing for Bama...

Beyond solid and headed to spectacular…That is how I would rate 'Bama's newest basketball recruit. I'm seen him in two AAU games and his stock is rising. He won't end up being a three star player in my opinion. He'll be better. He played at Duncanville High School in Duncanville, Texas who won the mythical national championship. How much talent did the Panther have? Dowell managed to play in 12 games as a junior. That wasn't because he couldn't play. He just couldn't crack the starting lineup because of the star power of the Panther five. He did get quickly picked up by the Dallas Showtyme the elite AAU power in the Dallas Metro area. Playing for the Showtyme means you are an elite player. J'Mison Morgon, LSU recruit, played in his high school basketball. His high school team finished at 39-0. Duncanville is perhaps the most highly respected high school program in Texas and in the nation as well. This is a highly significant signing for Bama for several reasons. Chalk this one up to Coach Kobe Baker who is from that area. Rivals.com may list his as a 3.0 star but his ability and the significance of the recruiting goes way beyond this. In the do over for Mark Gottfried this is a big step. You wonder about Pickett and Torrance. I'd suspect Pickett goes back to the two after another season and Torrance might transfer.
